The neighborhood community of Southdell is located in East Bloomington south of 94th street and north of Old Shakopee Road between Portland Avenue and 12th Avenue. The neighborhood consists of 280 single family homes featuring ranch, rambler, and split level housing styles with prices ranging from $150,000 to $300,000. Southdell is an excellent neighborhood featuring great homes, family friendly community, and excellent location with easy access to numerous amenities and several major highways.

Southdell features central location within close proximity to some of the best amenities in East Bloomington. The closest School to Southdell is Kennedy High School.Kennedy High School offers a top notch educational program designed to help students prepare for the future. Other schools in the area include Valley View Elementary School, Indian Mounds Elementary School, Valley View Middle School, Bethany Academy, and Normandale Community College.
